Our stain protector preventatively shields the fibers of your area rugs from stains and even provides some UV protection, keeping your colors as bright as possible. It can be used on all fiber types without risk of rapid resoiling, texture change, dye bleed, or discoloration. Re-application after a professional rug cleaning is recommended.

In a perfect world, we would see your brand-new area rugs for professional application of protector before you ever get them home! The next best thing is to have your rugs treated just after a professional cleaning.

Dye correction repair is as much art as it is science. When outside forces like pet urine damage or harsh over-the-counter cleaning products have prematurely damaged the dyes of your fine rugs, we may be able to bring them back to a condition that is acceptable to all! When your rug comes in for cleaning, just ask us what we think our restoration chances are.

We offer our customers different options for wrapping their rugs: Transport Only, Short-Term Storage, Long-Term Storage. Let us know what your needs are, and we’ll suggest (and explain) the appropriate solution!

Mann’s does offer on-site area rug storage. Any rug placed into storage with us must first be washed, treated with moth repellant, and properly wrapped. Monthly storage fees will apply and may vary from rug to rug based on their declared or presumed value.

All rugs must be picked up or delivered within 30 days of completion unless storage arrangements have been made with our office in advance. Rugs left longer than 30 days will be considered abandoned.

When our customers wonder about the “value” of their rugs, we need to know if the appraisal is for their own information, resale purposes, or for insurance purposes. Each of these options has its own style of appraisal. We’re always happy to share our verbal opinions with you free of charge, but the more involved the purpose, the more detailed the appraisal needs to be. The best time to have them appraised is when they are in our studio!
